Vicky Kaushal

Vicky Kaushal (born May 16, 1988) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. After working as an assistant director on the two-part *Gangs of Wasseypur* (2012) and making minor screen appearances, he played his first leading role in *Masaan* (2015), winning the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Male. His subsequent releases included *Bhoot: Part One - The Haunted Ship* (2020) and the biographical drama *Sardar Udham* (2021), for which he won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor.
