Rashwan Tawfek is an Egyptian actor who was born in Sayyeda Zeinab, Cairo in 1933. He got his Bachelor’s degree in acting and directing from the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts and after graduating worked in Egyptian TV. Tawfek also performed with the Tafik El Hakim Theater Troupe, The Modern Theatre Troupe, and the National Theatre Troupe. After long years of acting in the theater, Tawfek moved to acting in TV drama at the end of the 1970s.
