Banafshe Hourmazdi studied acting at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg and at the Zurich University of the Arts. She developed and acted in plays at the Ballhaus Naunynstraße Berlin, Münchner Kammerspiele, Theater Oberhausen, Ruhrtriennale and Sophiensaele Berlin.
