He joined Shaw Brothers in 1968 and starred in two martial arts films "Tomorrow Is Another Day" and "The Fastest Sword", where he played Chu Ching's father in both of them. Later, Hang discarded his five-year contract with Shaw Brothers because of the traveling. He turned to work in various Taiwanese film companies during the 1960s and 1980s, where he starred in "Secret Agent Chang Kong No.1", "Clam Fairy" and "It All Started With A Bed". He had also appeared in "The Sword" produced by Hong Kong's Chang Jiang Films. Han is best remembered for his martial arts roles.
