Around the same time she also appeared as Lt. Brie on Battlestar Galactica and as Tommy on the cult series B.J. and the Bear.

Julian made guest appearances on a range of popular TV series including Knight Rider, Simon & Simon, Columbo, Swamp Thing, Murder, She Wrote and Diagnosis: Murder. In film, she had roles in the 1978 surf drama Big Wednesday and genre favorites like the slasher Humongous (1982), the crime thriller Fear City (1984), and the acclaimed Abel Ferrara picture King of New York (1990).
