Karl Hass was an SS Hauptsturmführer, mainly known for his participation in the Ardeatine massacre (Rome - Italy, 24 March 1944). After the war, he was a spy, for American and Italian agencies. For some years, he was also involved in the Italian cinematographic world (actor and consultant).
