Ruthy worked as a Playboy Bunny at the Playboy Club in both Kansas City, Missouri and Los Angeles, California. She won the Bunny of the Year pageant in 1972. Ross was the Playmate of the Month in the June, 1973 issue of "Playboy" magazine. Ruthy Ross acted in two movies in 1974: she's a groupie in Brian De Palma's delightfully outrageous "Phantom of the Paradise" and nude model Glory in the splendidly sleazy drive-in exploitation gem "The Centerfold Girls."
