Nicholas, an introverted young man living alone in Athens, discovers an old map of Greece with a red X marked near Kalamos, Varnavas, and Lake Marathon. His curiosity leads him to a forgotten village called Petroto — a burnt, ruined place that seems to no longer exist. There, he meets a mysterious man dressed in black, a strange convenience store, and an abandoned cemetery, where he discovers a grave with the name KASTRITIS and traces of a forgotten superstition. As he tries to leave, figures dressed in black appear around him. Reality begins to dissolve, while illness and fear plunge him into a dark delirium. When a familiar light appears in the night, Nicholas returns to where it all began. Shortly after, he finds himself alone on the road, with a silhouette dressed in black standing still across from him. A cat watches silently. And then, nothing is certain.
