Colégio Brasil is a Brazilian children's telenovela produced by JPO Produções and broadcast by SBT from May 6 to September 20, 1996. Written by Yoya Wursch and directed by Roberto Talma and José Paulo Vallone, the telenovela was produced in partnership with JPO Produções and had 117 episodes. It stars Giuseppe Oristanio, Maria Padilha, Taumaturgo Ferreira, Patrícia de Sabrit, Paulo Nigro, Ana Kutner, Ittala Nandi, Cláudia Lira, Edwin Luisi, Afonso Nigro, and Fausto Maule.
The story takes place at Colégio Brasil, a school where students and teachers experience friendships, conflicts, discoveries, and challenges of adolescence. The plot follows Nair, a strict and bitter school inspector marked by a painful past, and the lives of students who deal with issues such as friendship, relationships, teenage conflicts, sexuality, safe sex, and pregnancy.
